Teacher Gift Idea: What To Get For Your Kids Teacher?
The end of the school year is approaching and moms are already preparing for graduations, functions, concerts and a variety of events that culminate a course full of our children´s activities. We have to prepare costumes, make sure that we have all the clothes required for the graduation ceremony, and of course, we have to make room in our busy schedules… Everything that is necessary for our little ones to understand how important their small (or great) achievements are to us
Watching our children learn and develop is wonderful. And we know how difficult it is to teach them, and have the patience to do so. The ones who know this best are their teachers, the professionals who devote their efforts, day after day, to educate them. And who are we kidding, they spend most of the day with our kids, consequently creating a bond of friendship and affection. They know our little ones very well!

For the past couple of years, there is a growing tradition of making a small gift to the professors at the end of the course, as a form of gratitude for their dedication. Although not everyone is in favor of this practice, I think that making a nice gesture with the person who has been caring for and pampering my children for 9 months, is important. It is a way of showing them that we are happy with them and that they have done a good job.
Here I show you the little gift that I have prepared for the teachers of my two children. They are all young women, so in this case I have prepared a kit with several natural cosmetics products and something sweet, which is always a good idea!
Each kit includes:
- A cup
- A glass bowl with fudge (an American sweet that is delicious!!)
- A jar of bath salts (to see instructions see DIY Bath Salts in 5 Minutes post)
- An oatmeal, honey and vanilla scrub
Most of the containers I bought at Søstrene Grene at a good price; Labels, sweets and cosmetic products are all handmade and DIY (very soon I will post all the instructions for these products, so stay tuned!).
This is a very personal gift made with affection. As you can see, I’ve put it all in a pretty gift bag with tissue paper, which makes it so much more special. And best of all, it is a very original gift and… I have not gone over budget!
I think it looks very cute! Now tell me, what are your gift ideas to give to the teachers?
