5 DIY Ideas Using Coloring Book Pages
They are super trendy right now! Yes, you have seen them in many department stores and stores, with many varied designs and all incredibly beautiful … They are the coloring books for grown ups.
Since I was a little girl, I’ve had fascination with drawing and painting. I remember that at a very young age I was already in front of the TV, sitting on the floor, with my notebooks and markers. And I did not even pay attention to the TV, I was absorbed in my world of colors …
I spent a lot of time coloring beautiful illustrations, to then turn the page, and all the effort and excitement was left hidden behind the next page.
About a year ago, I went back to that hobby that I was so passionate about, because it is said to be a relaxing activity. And in my experience, it totally is. But of course, I spent a lot of time coloring beautiful illustrations, to then turn the page, and all the effort and excitement was left hidden behind the next page. So why not give a new life to that small work of art to which we have dedicated our time?
Here I give you several ideas of what you can do with them:
1. Frame it and hang it on the wall
You can frame the whole page or cut it into smaller pieces to make a collection. Then just find a frame that looks good, or use the ones you have and color the page accordingly. The best part is you decide!
2. Use it to cover and protect your favorite book
Protecting your favorite book is always a good idea, especially if you put it into your handbag and carry it with you. This way it looks good, it´s protected and nobody will know what you are reading!
3. Use it as wrapping paper
It looks so pretty! And it´s a very cost efficient way of saving on wrapping paper.
4. Make some cards, invitations or thank you notes
If you have an event coming up or if you need to send out a thank you note, why not use these stunning pages for it?
5. Use it as scrapbooking paper
I love scrapbooking and these are very good resources for my pages. Just cut it to the size you need, or into small pieces or shapes to embellish a page.
Can you think of more ideas? How would you use them? I would love to hear your ideas, so if you want, share them with me in the comments or tag @myberryown when you post your photos on social media.
